New Pool Design!!!!!
This project will undoubtedly have THE BEST pool in Belize to date!
The engineer and architect for Sapphire Beach Resort have been busy designing what most likely will be the deepest, largest, most awesome pool of any resort in Belize. Not only is this pool to be over 170′ long, but it will be one of the deepest pools in Belize with areas of the pool being over 15’ deep. Sapphire Beach will be able to offer its guests/owners dive certification in this beautiful lagoon style pool.

The pool will have an actual man-made island with 10’ and 5’ jump offs into the deeper water along with two water slides. A swim thru cave will also be featured in this island. Also featured in the pool are an ocean side spa/hot tub with several beach entries into the pool, shallow kiddie swim area and great spots for poolside lounging. As you can see, this pool is going to be IMPRESSIVE and the center of activity for Sapphire Beach Resort!
Restaurant, Privacy divider, and Landscaping
Exciting week! Things are moving along fantastically. The new privacy divider was added to building 8 to get concept approval, IMHO IT LOOKS GREAT! Imagine your favorite vine growing up the lattice work!
The restaurant is on it’s way. First floor paneling is laid ready for the first floor tile which is being purchased in Mexico this week. Just points out some of the logistical problems that can arise with a project of this size in Belize.
Black dirt and fast growing grass is being planted in appropriate areas of the landscaping to give a contrast to the beautiful sand of the area.
Electrical, which is one of the most expenses components, is being installed as we speak to facilitate a January opening. Here is the photo gallery from yesterday:
