New Pool Design!!!!!

This project will undoubtedly have THE BEST pool in Belize to date!

The engineer and architect for Sapphire Beach Resort have been busy designing what most likely will be the deepest, largest, most awesome pool of any resort in Belize. Not only is this pool to be over 170′ long, but it will be one of the deepest pools in Belize  with areas of the pool being  over 15’ deep. Sapphire Beach will be able to offer its guests/owners dive certification in this beautiful lagoon style pool.

Here is a rendition of what the new plot plan will look like (design may still change slightly), you can click on the photos for a larger view:

The pool will have an actual man-made island with  10’ and 5’ jump offs into the deeper water along with two water slides. A swim thru cave will also be featured in this island. Also featured in the pool are an ocean side spa/hot tub with  several beach entries into the pool, shallow kiddie swim area and great spots for poolside lounging. Here is a rendering of one of the caves that you can swim through:

Here is a more complete view of the pool:

As you can see, this pool is going to be IMPRESSIVE and the center of activity for Sapphire Beach Resort!

Sapphire Beach Property Tour

We are having some very exiting property tours! Today we had a Commercial Contractor and his wife, an x-teacher that are actively looking at Belize view the property. He really took his time looking at physical construction, water lines, building wiring, wood construction, everything. He was very please with what he saw and is considering a purchase.

In comparison they were staying at a very high profile newer resort on the island. He told me that a few weeks ago there was a fire in one of the units that was started by a microwave shorting out. The unit was empty and the fire burned itself out, but evidently the electrical system doesn’t have GFI receptacles, nor building grounding!!!!!! I have run into this on 3 other high end properties on the island!

It pays to interview the builder when looking to buy new properties in any country, let alone Central America. In the case of Sapphire, the utilities are properly sized following Standard Code practices. Yes, the buildings are grounded and all kitchens, baths, and outside outlets are GFI protected. It pays to be thorough!

Anyone concerned with purchasing in Belize should definitely look at Sapphire Beach Resort. It is a quality standard at an economical price!
